Barb Walker – Retired after 20 Years!

In 1990, Barb Walker LPN and Dr. Paul Reiss began work at the current Evergreen site from the ground up while working with CHP Health Plan. Many changes throughout the years have brought us to a private independent practice of 4 Doctors, 2 Nurse Practitioners and a Physician Assistant. We have cared for thousands of patients and experienced some very difficult transitions in the past twenty years. Through it all, Barb Walker kept track of all of you and all of us. She retired in June. She looks forward to moving to Montgomery, VT to be closer to her grandchildren and enjoy a well deserved time of leisure!

We all miss her positive, up-beat attitude, her amazing willingness to embrace change – including and especially the Electronic Record – and her quirky and (sometimes) off-beat humor. Barb often has been the “glue” of the practice, and has witnessed the arrival of many newborns, as well as the passing of many of our dearest long term patients.
